Effect of Sasobit warm mix on micro properties of asphalt with different degrees of regeneration

In this work, an aged asphalt was mixed with a new modified based on styrene–butadiene–styrene (SBS) in different proportions, and the warm mixing agent added to simulate fusion behaviour recycled fertilizer (reclaimed pavement, RAP) content. Low field nuclear magnetic resonance (LF-NMR), atomic force microscopy (AFM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) were used as analytical techniques study role of terms molecular bond energy, apparent morphology, functional groups. It found that softening point penetration are reduced, ductility is increased, during regeneration process. Sasobit mix can reduce improve point. Its viscosity reduction effect mainly achieved by adsorbing saturated components decreasing energy between 1H other molecules; aging state asphalt. On AFM two-dimensional adhesion diagram, number bee-shaped structures single area reduced; old asphalt, greater proportion more evident is.
